Question 1

How long does a remodeling project take?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the scope. A bathroom remodel typically takes one to two weeks. A kitchen remodel usually runs two to four weeks. A home addition or basement finishing project can take anywhere from six to twelve weeks depending on size and complexity. We’ll give you a realistic Louisville-area timeline during the estimate — not an optimistic one that slips later.

Question 2

How does the estimate process work?

Accepted Answer

We schedule an on-site visit, walk through the project with you, and follow up with a written estimate that breaks down the work and the cost. There’s no charge for the estimate and no obligation to move forward. Most estimates are returned within one to two business days of the site visit (depending on the size of the project).

Question 3

Will I need to leave my home during the project?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, no. We work around your schedule and do our best to keep disruption to a minimum. For larger projects, there may be specific days where certain areas of the home aren’t accessible, but we’ll tell you about those in advance so you can plan accordingly.

Question 4

Do you handle permits?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Any project that requires a permit — and most structural or electrical work does — we pull it ourselves. You won’t need to navigate the local permitting process on your own, and you won’t be left with unpermitted work that causes problems down the road.
